Many sociologists (E. Burke Rochford in particular) would say so, and some can speak from statistics. It seems to be the sociological history of religious movements, that at some point they gravitate towards the family as the central fountainhead of spiritual wisdom rather than the temple, church, synagogue, or mosque. Is this a sign of evolution or dilution? Something to think about.
