In many places Srila Prabhupada’s teachings refer to nighttime as the period when ghosts and hobgoblins come out. The absence of sun, or darkness ? in most theological literature – is linked with the appearance of evildoers and evil deeds. The spiritual world, by contrast, is always bright and effulgent – quite devoid of evil.
