“I am the Taste of Water”

When Krsna says “I am the Taste of Water” (BGAII, 7.4), one can get an inkling of how one has to throw off the taste of other beverages as impure – sweet and delectable as they may be to our materially-oriented senses and mind. Water is known for its purity, and developing a love for THAT pure taste is a hint of the spiritual world and the nature of transcendental taste.
