I can’t recall the exact time or place, but I remember a walk in which Srila Prabhupada spoke of the fact that Krishna ‘is not a poor man.’ He went on to express his incredulousness that people wouldn’t surrender to Him, when they would easily surrender to a ‘rich man,’ and even feel privileged to work for him. For example, Howard Hughes was said to hire only Mormons, because he ‘trusted them.’ Obviously, they liked the opportunity to work for him, even though he was thought to be an eccentric.
