Wars Political, Not Religious

It is often erroneously thought that MOST wars are/were religiously motivated. This is not factual, as a quick perusal of history will show. Here Srila Prabhupada talks about Hindu-Muslim tensions: “We actually saw during the partition days [1947] in India that although Hindus and Muslims were living together peacefully, manipulation by politicians suddenly aroused feelings of hatred between them, and thus the Hindus and Muslims killed one another over politics.” (Srimad Bhagavatam 6.2.5-6/puport)
