When it rains, thousands of droplets of water are “aerated,” or “purified” by the air. Water treatment plants sometimes spray water to recycle it for drinking, as the spray is said to purify it. The mind, like water, also harbours unclean microscopic substances which can kill or make us seriously ill. The mind is full of contaminated thoughts, and part of the process of Krsna consciousness is to purify it. There is a very “sweet taste” to really “pure” water.
