“Rhythm not Music”

We’ve often heard that music is the universal language. And if popular music is an indication, that statement contains truth. Tablas, congas, bongos, mrdangas, gamelans, dhunduris, cymbals, tambourines, glockenspiels, xylophones, tom-toms – it makes sense, doesn’t it?
