Srila Prabhupada makes it clear in a Los Angeles lecture on Isopanisad, that the Biblical quote about dust refers to the material body: “…when I leave this body, this body becomes ‘Dust thou art, dust thou…’ That ‘thou’ means this body. I am not dust. I am spirit soul.” (Mantra 8, May 12, 1970)
