On his appearance day in 1935, Srila Prabhupada?s beloved gurudeva gave premier endorsement to his disciple?s poetic status. He had read Srila Prabhupada?s verses that began: Adore adore ye all The happy day, Blessed than heaven, Sweeter than May. He was moved, especially by the stanza, Absolute is sentient, Thou hast proved, Impersonal calamity Thou hast moved. Srila Prabhupada?s gurudeva showed this couplet to many guests, and ordered that whatever he wrote should be published in his journal, the Harmonist.
