In the Srimad Bhagavatam (2.6.34/purport), Srila Prabhupada refers to the “gospel truth” in reference to the statements of Lord Brahma. In this way, Srila Prabhupada has adopted an Enlish-language phrase based on the Bible to establish the unquestionable-ness of Vedic Truth. Also, in an initiation lecture in Los Angeles on December 1, 1968, he refers to “the biblical truth” in discussing the fourth offense to the holy name, namely, that of minimizing the authority of the Vedas.
