Srila Prabhupada beautifully explained the happiness of surrender to the Lord. He told us how a kitten feels the mother cat’s breathing on the nape of its neck as a warm maternal caress, while the rat (a metaphor for a materialist) feels the cat’s hot breath as the jaws of death.
