Underwater Worlds

In the Srimad Bhagavatam, there are instances of beings like Devahuti who could live and act in underwater kingdoms, unaffected by the alleged fact that humans cannot survive under the surface of bodies of water. In the twenty-third chapter of the third canto of Srimad Bhagavatam, it is explained that one thousand maidservants spoke to Devahuti underwater, and that they groomed her there, in a lake which contained the “sacred waters of the Sarasvati.”
