M. Gandhi is thought to be a great apostle of the non-violence theory and ideologically responsible for gaining "equality" for the black population in the USA. But non-violence as a philosophy of life is not fully embraced by ISKCON. By studying the Bhagavad-gita one realizes that although non-violence is a good quality, it is not to be adopted as a complete way of life. After all, every time we breathe, take a step, cook and draw water we're killing moving creatures. This is a fact Srila Prabhupada has taught us in his books. And ksatriyas as well as dependable police forces are necessary to protect members of society.
