Prasadam distribution has on occasions devolved into non-spiritual vegetarianism. However, the importance of feeding the brahmanas prasadam from the Deities was emphasized when Advaita Acarya said that feeding Haridasa Thakura was equivalent to the results of feeding one hundred thousand brahmanas.
