This verse in the Bhagavad-gita (10.41), "Know that all opulent, beautiful and glorious creations spring from but a spark of My splendor," can give rise to an impersonal interpretation of God. But it also explains why Srila Prabhupada treated dignitaries in government with extreme deference. It also explains (to a degree) why Sanatana Goswami was such a confidant of the Muslim ruler named Nawab Hussain Shah.
