Many scientists, who are practicing Christians, have put forward the Intelligent Design Theory (IDT), which is not unlike Srila Prabhupada's "proofs" of the existence of God. One of the reasons he formed the Bhaktivedanta Institute - made up primarily of scientists - was to lend credibility to the concept of God as the one and only omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent Lord.
